Across Europe, governments have started to open their borders after months of closure during the coronavirus pandemic. The border situation remains a mixed picture across Europe, with each country imposing its own rules and its own timetable for re-opening. Guess who is not invited?  the USA!

This article by Euronews lists European countries, their open status, who is welcome, and any quarentienne stipulations. These should be updated every two weeks.

Sorry USA… Not Invited!

“As the European Union starts to re-open its doors, travelers from America, Brazil and Russia are barred from entry because of  their countries’ inability to contain the spread of the corona virus”

James Vincent – TheVerge

This is a tough pill to swallow, but warranted, as the USA, has had an unacceptable delayed response, an ignoring of science, and absolute lack of leadership throughout the entire COVID-19, Coronavirus pandemic. We pray that every single country, in every single corner of the world does what is necessary to beat this awful pandemic.  Should you be planning close-to-home outings and adventures, please be careful and follow the guidelines of the CDC and WHO.

Due to COVID-19, all 2020 tours were cancelled. We remain hopeful for a return to responsible adventure travel in 2021. Until then…
